42nd Annual Lotus Festival At Echo Park

HiDesert Yoga & Kirtan and friends will be at Lotus Festival 2023 on July 15 and 16!  Stop by their tables and say hi!  They will have live kirtan mantra meditation sessions happening throughout day. 

Come pay your respects to the colorful and beautiful Jaganatha dieties, lovingly modeled and replicated after those in Jaganatha Puri, India.  On Saturday, the dieties will be carried in a parade around the lake, with much singing and chanting of mantras, like they do during the holy festival of Ratha-Yatra. 

Also, a dear friend, Dhira dasi, will be giving a yoga and martial arts demonstration at 3pm, Saturday, July 15 on the main stage. 

It’s a beautiful couple days of culture and celebration next to a gorgeous lotus-filled lake.
